Along with learning to play the game of soccer, another area to explore is refereeing the game, and we encourage many of our players to become certified. Whether you are an experienced referee new to British Columbia or if you are new to officiating, BC Soccer has a clinic and pathway for you.
For those who are 12 years of age or older in the current year and are interested in officiating Small Sided soccer, the first step is to enroll and complete a Small Sided Referee Clinic.
For those who are 14 years of age or older in the current year and are interested in officiating full-field soccer, enroll and complete an Entry Level Referee Clinic.
GO TO UPCOMING REFEREE CLINICS TAB TO SEE NOYSA CLINICS AND REGISTER.
NOYSA will refund the registration fee to anyone who completes the referee clinic and referees 8 games during the 2024 Spring season.
Late registrations will not be accepted. Please do not wait until the last minute to register.
Please email noysatd@gmail.com if you have any questions.

DISCIPLINARY FORMS FOR REFEREES
CRIMINAL RECORD CHECKS
All Referees aged 19 years and older must have a valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check on file with BC Soccer. This means that if you are 19 years of age or older, you will be required to comply with the policy in order to continue officiating in BC Soccer sanctioned activity. You’ll find all the details and options of obtaining a Criminal Record Check here. NOYSA will provide all referees with the CRC registration once your license is renewed or a clinic is completed.
